365 days with my miracle

I am blessed.  I am filled with joy!  Today is my littlest loves birthday.  He turns 1.

In short, we tried for over two years to have a second child, a buddy for Corbin, a new baby.  We suffered two miscarriages during that time both at 12 weeks. They were both tragic and devastating to get through.  I grew in a big way during those times.  I will post more in depth about that sometime.

For now I want to celebrate the miracle that my Lord gave to me.  My precious Cody.  He is full of life, feisty, a lover, intelligent, and for the most part easy going (unless he gets something taken away from him.  Then he screams! I said I would never have a screamer - but I do.)  I love him and am so overjoyed to be celebrating his birthday.

Happy First Birthday Cody!

Psalm 139:13-19

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

  2. Happy Birthday Cody! One year ago, you were surrounded by a joyous welcome! You've been covered in prayer since you were in your mama's belly. Your parents and brother do not take for granted the miracle of life that you are. I praise God for you are fearfully and wonderfully made!~Gina
