Day Four

Steve came home today. He is grateful to be out of the hospital and it is always good to be in the comforts of your own home.  He has made a few more strides in the right direction today like shower, in and out of the car, etc. He is still in a good amount of pain and basically has to treat his body as if it is a log.  One continuous piece, not twisting, turning, bending, leaning, etc.  Very tough.  Try to do is and you will see how much we take for granted the movement we have in our bodies.

Thank you so much for your prayers and please keep praying if you would times are extremely tough.  I will keep you posted.  Thank you SO much!

Here is another Hymn that is one of my favorites that I have been listening to:

It is well with my soul (click on the link to hear it)
When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,

When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Refrain:
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

For me, be it Christ, be it Christ hence to live:
If Jordan above me shall roll,
No pang shall be mine, for in death as in life
Thou wilt whisper Thy peace to my soul.

But, Lord, ’tis for Thee, for Thy coming we wait,
The sky, not the grave, is our goal;
Oh, trump of the angel! Oh, voice of the Lord!
Blessed hope, blessed rest of my soul!

And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.

  1. i love this psalm! Praise God that for His goodness and faithfulness. You guys love God and know He loves you. This is a wonderful reminder that we all have so much to thank God for everything we have. It reminds me of Job's story. God blessed him because he trusted God when life was tough. God is taking care of you guys just as He said He would do. love,gina
