  1. So glad I caught your blog today. Thank you for sharing. I’ve always thought yellow was such a cheerful color just as long as I don’t have to wear. It doesn’t look good on me. Your grandparent’s kitchen looks delightful! It is very well lit too. I have to have light coming in or it seems dreary. I even make Clara open her curtains before we walk out the door if she forgot to do it beforehand. Funny you mentioned taco seasoning on the beans. I tried it not to long ago and thought “why didn’t I try this sooner?” It really is good. Mexican and Tai food are my two favorites as well. We have Mexican food often and when we go out to eat it’s usually at our favorite Tai restaurant. We always get the Tai Peanut and Green Chili dishes. Like you, I have always wanted to go to Italy. My favorite artist, Howard Behrens does painting of Italy that could brighten up any room. I will have to check out the GF Cooking on a Shoestring so I can try some of your recipes. Thankfully, the awareness for the need to make GF food has grown immensely and the food tastes so much better than it use to.

One last thing…one of my favorite verses Jer. 17:7-8 Jer. "But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” Even though we don’t feel like this at times, I believe it’s what the world sees in us when we keep our feet firmly planted on The Rock of Jesus. It also encourages me knowing that somehow, someway God is always there if I don’t wander off. Your forever friend, Robin
